Plastitremp Dip coating
PLASTITREMPDIP COATING
Dip coating is a very economical solution for making PVC parts, both individually and by mass production:
- low tooling costs
- standard or made-to-measure parts
- parts with a large draft
- large-volume parts
- fast implementation
- PVC layers from 8/10ths to several mm thick
A process with many applications
An aluminium core with the shape of the required part is first heated and then submerged in a bath of liquid plastic (PVC). The submersion time governs the thickness. The coated core is then placed in an oven for curing, and cooled. Finally, all that remains is to release the part!
The same principle applies for coating your metal or glass parts.
